Our Recreational Coach Workshop is an interactive, on-court training program designed for tennis teachers and coaches working with players at the recreational level.
- Duration: Full Day (6 hours)
- Prepare for a full day of professional feedback and guidance.
- Methodolgy: The Games-based Partner Approach
- Learn how to empower student learning with partner pairing and progression hitting. You'll practice adjusting the tools (court size, ball compression, and racquet length) and hitting progression to match your student levels.
- Management of Large Groups
- Build the confidence to manage large groups and adjust lesson plans on the fly with various student to coach ratios.
- Audience
- Parents seeking the basics in coaching and organizing team tennis. Recreation instructors, high school, and seasonal coaches. Coaches teaching kids and adults who are new to the game. Current players seeking part-time teaching jobs
- Skill Development

• Become eligible for membership as a PTR Recreational Coach or a USPTA Developmental Coach.
